Just a few years ago the Internet was a mysterious adventure reserved only for the most ardent computer buffs.  With its  presence now firmly fixed in our daily lives, we feel that this is an ideal medium in which to communicate with the members. It is our intent to provide you with a one stop source of information about every aspect of your Association. 

Our goal is to keep the information here relevant and up-to-date.  Judging by your responses, it appears that we are meeting that goal.  Some features are seasonal, such as Retirement Function Notices or information about Special Events.   Others are a full time part of the site, such as the Change-of-Address link, the Chaplains Corner, and the Officers and Directors Roster.   We have also responded to many suggestions from the membership on how to improve the site.  We appreciate all of your input and invite you to contact us at any time via our feedback form to comment on the web site or any other aspect of the B&W.

At this site, you can find out what the Association is, why it exists and how it can serve you.......or, how you can serve it!  This is a self-help organization whose membership is comprised of dues paying active employees of the Los Angeles County Fire Department, as well as retirees of the department who were dues paying members throughout their active service.

We are always looking for members to serve as Directors or in other capacities within the organization. If you are interested in volunteering your time as a Director or in any other capacity, please contact your Director, any of the Officers, or me personally, and we will be glad to assist you.  As always, members are welcome to attend our monthly meetings.
